Christ-Centered Bible Study: Lutherans interpret the Bible through the lens of the Gospel—God’s saving work in Jesus Christ, which is a central theme in Church Worship Service and aligns with Lutheran teachings.

A key aspect of Lutheran teachings is the Law and Gospel distinction, which highlights how Scripture convicts us through God’s Law and comforts us with the Gospel, essential themes often explored in Bible study and reflected in our Church worship service.

The Bible is the ultimate authority for faith and life, serving as a guide for doctrine, church worship service, and daily living, reflecting Lutheran teachings.

Lutheran services, which reflect the core principles of Lutheran teachings, are structured in a traditional manner that encompasses a Church worship service. This order includes elements such as invocation, confession and absolution, Scripture readings, a sermon, prayers, hymns, and sacraments, alongside opportunities for Bible study.

Church worship services are centered on the proclamation of God’s Word and the administration of the sacraments, including Holy Communion and Baptism, which are integral to Lutheran teachings as means of grace. Additionally, Bible study plays a vital role in deepening our understanding and appreciation of these spiritual practices.

Hymns, responsive readings, and prayers actively involve the whole congregation during the Church Worship Service, emphasizing the importance of communal worship as taught in Lutheran teachings, rather than mere passive attendance.
